That's right, according to BB, we need more toys! But take from the hubby, "It looks like a Toys R Us blew up in here." So, I'm pretty sure we don't need any more toys.
So, picture us walking through Wal-Mart this morning (you know, as GB was screaming and I'm running through the store as fast as I can). BB sees a package of Wall-E masks that are meant to be used for birthday parties. They are like those cheap-o party hats, but Wall-e masks that look like Wall-E's eyes. They come in packs of eight. BB is begging for these masks and I keep telling him no.
Me: No, we're not getting that. You don't need eight masks.
BB: Well, we could throw five away and keep two.
Me: ...
Yes, I know that eight minus five does not equal two. But the boy is only four. He doesn't know how to subtract yet. But the thought process that went into his answer impressed me. I ended up laughing through the rest of the store (yes GB was still screaming and I was laughing). It made for quite the scene. I'm sure the other customers thought we were quite the normal family! We fit in nicely this morning...

I so have to avoid any toy section of Walmart or Target because the same thing happens to me! However, after Christmas and the mass of toys Ned received, we went through all his old stuff and he decided what he wanted to keep and what he wanted to give away and we took a huge back to Goodwill because he liked the fact that he was giving some of his toys to a boy who didn't have anything.
