In other news, I started a cake decorating class today! I've taken three before and this is the final one. I love cake decorating and would try to make a living out of it if I was forced to get a job right now. I'm sad that in four weeks I won't have a reason to make cakes except for the bears' birthdays. Everybody else in the family is dieting, so no cake making for them... So I made the first cake for this class. It turned out beautiful! This is only the second time that I've ever used fondant, so go easy on me! GB really liked it and told me so about ten times! Without further ado...
The bathroom remodel is coming along nicely. The tile is primed and ready to be painted. The floor is bought and ready to be put down. Then the toilet can be installed. After that, all we need are nice, yet affordable, accessories.
The chipmunks and mice have not been caught yet. The mice worry me more than the chipmunk since the chipmunk is outside of my house. The hubby thinks that the mice are either back outside or dead because we don't have any food in the garage. I'm sure if I believe him.

I'm so afraid to get moon sand! That stuff just looks SOOO carpet friendly (rolls eyes)! Since both my boys are super destructive, I don't DARE even break out the Plato!
I LOVE the cake! It's BEAUTIFUL! You should be VERY proud of yourself! You have the patience of a saint to be able to do all that detail.
Thank you for the compliments on my boys! I hope you get to read more of the stories I posted. My kids make me laugh...hysterically! I love being a stay at home mom!
The cake is super cute! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I'm looking forward to reading more from you. :)
That cake is awesome! I wish I had the patience (or the talent) to do stuff like that!
Thanks for the positive comments! I decorate cakes for fun. It relaxes me and basically takes me away from reality for a little while.
mum of two: the moon sand is actually easier to clean up than play doh!
